The SPEAK Network invites you to join us on Wednesday, September 4 at 5:30 pm for our Fall QPR Class. This class is an in-person class, located at 1011 11th Street, room 107 in Rapid City, SD.

The QPR class is named for three simple steps anyone can take to prevent suicide: question, persuade and refer. Whether you’re a parent, teacher, caregiver, or a concerned community member, this class will benefit you.

This class provides participants with baseline knowledge to help them confidently assist someone in need. In this class, you will learn fundamental skills necessary for basic suicide intervention and how to implement a safety plan. 

After taking our QPR training you will learn to:

• Recognize the warning signs of suicide

• Know how to offer hope

• Understand when to get help and save a life

Much like someone trained in CPR can quickly save a life, knowing the skills this class teaches will make sure you are ready to assist those in need. 

This class is FREE to attend, we just ask that you register in advance.
